What am I looking at?
Large-diameter self-expanding nitinol stent system engineered for venous anatomy, with a delivery catheter and radiopaque markers.
What does it do, and where will I see it?
Provides purpose-built venous scaffolding after recanalization and angioplasty of symptomatic iliocaval, iliofemoral, or other central venous stenoses and occlusions, where venous-specific radial support and conformability are required.
What most clearly distinguishes it from similar devices?
Dedicated venous stents are designed around the large caliber, flexibility, and compressive environment of the venous system rather than the lesion characteristics of routine peripheral arterial stenting.
