Filter retrieval sheath

Three-panel learning framework
What am I looking at?
Wide, often reinforced sheath designed to advance over and collapse the filter after hook engagement.
What does it do, and where will I see it?
Provides the coaxial working channel through which a retrievable IVC filter is captured and withdrawn from the venous system. It is used for routine retrieval and selected more complex tilted or long-dwell filter removals.
What most clearly distinguishes it from similar devices?
The retrieval sheath provides coaxial support and ultimately contains the captured filter during removal; it is distinct from the original deployment system.
