Recognition, context, and distinction

01

What am I looking at?

Visual recognition

Depth-locator and delivery system with a bioresorbable intraluminal anchor, extravascular bovine-collagen plug, connecting suture, sliding suture knot, and radiopaque lock.

02

What does it do, and where will I see it?

Use & procedural context

Closes compatible common femoral arterial access sites after 10–20 Fr endovascular devices or 12–25 Fr outer-diameter sheaths, including selected EVAR, TEVAR, and structural-heart procedures, using a single postprocedure biomechanical closure device.

03

What most clearly distinguishes it from similar devices?

Key distinctions

Unlike suture-mediated preclosure, MANTA® is deployed after the large-bore procedure; unlike standard ANGIO-SEAL® systems, it is purpose-designed for substantially larger femoral arteriotomies.
